Public Health Care
The following facilities/activities provided for Public Health Care in the Cantonment Board is as under:
- Sweeping of Roads, Streets is being carried out by Conservancy staff on regular basis in Cantonment area.
- De-silting of drains and Sukhbar Nallah into Cantonment Area.
- Spraying of insecticides to prevent vector borne disease like dengue, malaria etc. in whole Cantt area.
- Special Cleanliness drive held at Public parks and Cantt Board Stadium on regular basis.
- Cleaning of all PT's , CT's and Urinals is also being done on regular basis in Cantonment area.
- Cleanliness drive have been carried out at Cantt General Bus Stand , Cantt General Hospital and Cattle Pound on daily basis.
- Door to door garbage collection is being carried out by Tri-cycles in whole Cantt Area.
- The Cantonment Board has installed banners and Sign Boards at various locations in which messages for general public viz . to keep clean and green their areas , not to go for open defecation , not to litter garbages etc in open areas , more and more plantation etc.
- The general public have also been motivated not to use polythene bags in their daily routine.
- Stray dogs caught and get sterilized by Animal Birth Control Centre under Cantonment Board.
